Meanwhile | Fashion Week, NanoWriMon, Vlogs?

Hey Everyone! Hows it Going!
So Today I have my 3rd Meanwhile post for you all! If you have not seen my other 2, This is basically where I share with you everything that has happened in the past few weeks.

So first of all I'm going to talk about one of the bigger things that has happened. Toronto Fashion Week. This year I was lucky enough to be able to walk in Toronto Fashion Week For Preloved. It was an amazing experience all in all. I got to see all the hustle and bustle of a fashion week.  

Meanwhile | Filming, Feminism, And Me.

Hey Everyone!
Welcome to another Meanwhile post.
SO! HAPPY OCTOBER. I love this time of year. Its filled with crisp air, hot chocolate, fluffy coats and sock monkey socks hahaha. All in all Fall is my favourite time of the year.

So lets start out with the blog and my youtube channel. My sister and I recently got Studio lights since we both do youtube and such and basically they are the best thing in the world. This means I can take blog photos even if the lighting outside sucks. I usually use natural lighting that comes into my room but it usually only really has like an hour of good light then POOF. Gone.  I will insert a picture here of the lights. They are Canadian studio umbrella lights.

If you guys have been reading my blog for a while you would know that I am quite an ambitious person. I run a blog that I write on a couple times a week, I have a youtube channel which i try my hardest to keep up with, I do modelling which takes up TONS of time just from driving to Toronto and back, I am writing a book(slowly but steadily), I am a Junior in high school (grade 11), and then I have friends and family that i need to spend time with.
Don't get me wrong I truly love doing these things but sometimes it can get a little much you know? I have anxiety so it makes it hard trying to deal with even the small things in life like finishing homework or just knowing that I haven't uploaded a video in 3 weeks.  I always have a hard time expressing what I'm feeling to other people so I find it easier to just write my feelings in the notes on my laptop, express myself in art, or even put it here for you guys. You have no idea how good it is just to see everything laid out in front of you. It really makes it easier to tackle things.

Lastly, This year I have really gotten into things like gender equality and the HeForShe Campaign. It all started when I read about how Rowan Blanchard was making a speech at a conference showing her opinion on female oppression. After watching it live it sparked a fire in me which led me to scouring the internet for more. I will say today without hesitation, I am a Feminist. A common misconception people have when they think of Feminism and Feminists are that we are man haters. That is not the case at all! Feminists are people fighting for equality not woman takeover. We fight for issues like equal education, wage gap, domestic violence and more. I truly feel like gender equality is something people need to take seriously and take a part in so we can change our society. Meanwhile | Blogging, Room Decor, Social Media

Hey everyone! So today is a new kind of thing on my blog. Well not exactly "NEW NEW" but a new kind of series on my blog. I want to be able to update you guys on what is going on with me in a more exciting and fun way. So today marks the first day of my series called Meanwhile. Meanwhile will basically be an annual thing. I hope to do it once or twice a month just letting you guys know about what has been going on with me and the blog.

So some of you may have noticed i have been trying to post once or twice a week for the past month. I really want to be consistent with you guys and step up my blogging game. Hopefully sometime this year i will be able save enough to get the camera i want. The Canon T5i. It has amazing quality and a flip around touch screen view finder. This will hopefully help with the quality of my blog and the quality of my youtube videos. Shameless plug to youtube channel.

Next I have to confess something... I want to change my room.... again. If you saw the post i did two weeks ago called Exclusive room decor tour, you would see the way the area around my desk looked. I have decided that yet again, I need something new. I will do a complete room tour when I'm satisfied with how it looks so be excited. It should be done at the end of September. So not that long of a wait.

Alright guys so i have been really trying to make my social media and such the best that it can be. I have become a constant pinner on Pintrest and currently i have been trying to find a good theme for my instagram. If you guys have any tips on how what you would like to see in regards to my social media, like brighter pins or an all pink theme, let me know because not only do i want to make me happy by having something cute but i want it to be something you guys would like to look at and possibly follow me on. My book is currently in the works ( a slow and painful process ). Should be out around November or december. Also i am self publishing it so it should be on many of the popular online platforms like Amazon and barnes and noble. There also should be a kindle version for all you ereader people out there. It's coming.. I SWEAR.

So guys what do you think of this type of series so far? I have seen at least a dozen or so bloggers do these type of posts and i think its a great way to know whats going on with them!
